Just purchase one of these magnetic dermal bases for internally-threaded body jewelry and matching magnetic gem tops in your choice of colors, and you'll be set. After that, all you'll have to do is pop out your current magnetic gem and pop in one of a different color, and voila! You'll have a brand new look.
Each of these magnetic dermal bases is made from a single piece of solid titanium. They can be used with any internally-threaded body jewelry with a matching internal 1.2mm thread pattern, including labret studs, straight barbells, circular barbells, surface barbells, and other 12g or 14g internally-threaded body jewelry in addition to dermal anchors. The magnets are very strong, so you don't have to worry about losing your gem tops. Note that the gems themselves are not meant to be autoclaved.
It's easy to remove a gem from this magnetic base even if you don't have fingernails. Grab a pair of tweezers, squeeze the gem and pull it out, as shown in the demo video below. It'll take some time to get used to manipulating the gems to get them in and out of the lipped magnetic base, but once you get the hang of it, switching gem colors will be easy as pie.
